Mosè has the bad habit to bite and chew everything he can get his paws on. And, just in case you forgot it, Mosè's a cat.

This become a serious problem when he ruins scarves, pillows and blankets (do you remember mine?), so I use to buy him toys he can chew and destroy.

Mosè ha la pessima abitudine di mordere e rosicchiare qualsiasi cosa su cui riesca a mettere le sue zampette pelose. E, nel caso lo abbiate dimenticato, Mosè è un gatto.

Questo suo comportamento risulta un problema piuttosto fastidioso quando attacca sciarpe, cuscini e coperte (ricordate come ha ridotto la mia?), così di solito gli compro dei giochini che può masticare e distruggere tranquillamente.

Do you like my new daily planner? I really like Hugo Pratt's "Corto Maltese" and when I saw this little planner I immediately fell in love with it. :-)

9 days to Christmas.

I'm working extra hours at the bookshop (it's crazy there during Christmas.. people come in waves) and I spend the rest of the time giving private lessons and helping my mum to get things ready for Christmas (buying and wrapping presents, cooking, decorating the house,..).

I couldn't resist buying this black lace dress.

It's pretty loose and I'm going to wear it with my calf length boots (I love them so much that I have them in black and in grey as well). The result is quite nice even if slightly '90s (I don't know why but it reminds me of "Beverly Hills 90210").

Non ho saputo resistere e ho comprato questo vestito in pizzo nero.

E' piuttosto largo ed ho intenzione di portarlo con i miei stivali a mezzo polpaccio (che adoro talmente tanto da averli in due colori: grigio e nero). L'effetto finale è carino anche se vagamente '90s (non so perchè ma mi ricorda "Beverly Hills 90210").

"La stanza più buia" di Johan Theorin. Ormai da qualche anno leggo sempre un horror a Natale, è diventata una tradizione.

Here you can read about the legend of San Martino (Saint Martin).

So, according to tradition, I prepared the San Martino's cake (I made 7 of them, really), a short pastry base in the shape of a soldier on horseback decorated with candies and stuff.

While she's asleep, the 13th years-old Rosaleen dreams about a village and its well, about her odious sister's death, about the fairy tales that Granny tells her, but above all she dreams about wolves: the real ones and the ones who conceal themselves among humans, hiding their sharp teeth.

The film is inspired by Angela Carter's book "The Bloody Chamber" (1979) which I'm going to talk about in the future and it clearly refers to Little Red Riding Hood tale (I have a kind of obsession for it).

In my opinion the director Neil Jordan was superb in recreating the dreamy, dark and fairy-tale atmosphere and the powerful symbolism of Angela Carter's tales which makes this one of my favourite film ever.

Rosaleen, tredicenne inglese, dorme e sogna.

Sogna un villaggio attorno al pozzo, sogna la morte dell'insopportabile sorella, sogna le fiabe della nonna, ma soprattutto sogna i lupi.

Sogna i lupi veri e quelli con il pelo dentro che usano parole dolci per nascondere i loro denti.

Il film è tratto dai racconti di Angela Carter contenuti nel libro "La Camera di Sangue", di cui vorrei parlarvi in futuro (purtroppo in Italia è fuori catalogo. Se avete la fortuna di trovarlo nel mercato dell'usato, prendetelo - e magari mandatemene una copia ;-). Altrimenti lo potete tranquillamente trovare in lingua inglese) ed è chiaramente ispirato alla storia di Cappuccetto Rosso (per la quale ho una specie di ossessione).

Il fatto che il regista Neil Jordan sia riuscito pienamente a rendere sullo schermo l'atmosfera onirica, cupa e fantastica del libro, senza contare il forte simbolismo in cui affondano i racconti della Carter, ne fa uno dei miei film preferiti di sempre.

I've finished my first week at work (a new one) and I'm really excited about it.

It's my dream job and even if I'm a replacement for a maternity leave (for now), it's a great opportunity and I couldn't be happier.

A hint to guess the job? Let's say it's quite dangerous for me, as I'd love to spend all the monthly wage at my workplace ;)

E' il lavoro dei miei sogni e, anche se per ora sono in sostituzione di una ragazza in congedo per maternità, è un'ottima opportunità. Non potrei essere più felice.

I've been waiting for ages to lay my hands on this book and now that finally it's mine I have to say I really love it! I haven't finished it yet just because I want its characters to keep me company for a little more..

I've been watching Miyazaki's films for the whole summer and even if I think that this book and its film are quite different, they are both very well done, with a great, original and exciting story.

Click here for the plot. I'll just tell you it involves a young girl turned into an old woman by an evil spell, a vain heartbreaker wizard, the Witch Of The Waste, a fire demon and, of course, a moving castle.

In the land of Ingary where such things as seven-league boots and cloaks of invisibility really exist, it is quite a misfortune to be born the eldest of the three. Everyone knows you are the one who will fail first, and worst, if the three of you set out to seek your fortunes.

Howl's Moving Castle

More about Howl? Sophie thought desperately. 'I have to blacken his name!'.

Her mind was such a blank that for a second it actually seemed to her that Howl had no faults at all. How stupid!

"Well, he's fickle, careless, selfish, and hysterical," she said. "Half the time I think he doesn't care what happens to anyone as long as he's alright, but then I find out how awfully kind he's been to someone. Then I think he's kind just when it suits him, only then I find out he undercharges poor people. I don't know, Your Majesty. He's a mess.”

Ho aspettato a lungo di avere tra le mani questo libro e ora che finalmente è in mio possesso cosa posso dire, a parte che lo amo alla follia? Non l'ho finito in un giorno solo perchè voglio godermi la compagnia dei suoi personaggi ancora un po'..

Sono reduce da un'estate a base di film di Miyazaki e anche se libro e film presentano delle notevoli differenze, li trovo entrambi veramente ben fatti, con una storia originale, divertente ed emozionante.

Qui la trama. Io mi limito a dirvi che coinvolge una giovane ragazza trasformata in una vecchina da un maleficio, un mago vanesio e rubacuori, la Strega delle Terre Desolate, un demone del fuoco e, ovviamente, un castello in movimento.

Nella terra di Ingary, dove realmente esistono cose come stivali delle sette leghe e mantelli che rendono invisibili, essere il primogenito di tre fratelli è considerata una sfortuna piuttosto grossa. Colui che nasce per primo, infatti, è anche quello destinato a sbagliare per primo; e sarà ancora peggio se sarà l’ultimo ad andarsene di casa in cerca di fortuna…

Il Castello Errante di Howl

Qualcosa di più su Howl? Sophie si mise a pensare disperatamente. 'Devo infangare il suo nome!'. La sua mente era assolutamente vuota. Per un secondo le sembrò che, in realtà, Howl non avesse nemmeno un difetto. Che stupidaggine!

"Bene, è volubile, trascurato, egoista e isterico. La maggior parte delle volte penso che non gliene importi niente di quello che succede agli altri purché lui stia bene, per poi scoprire come sappia essere terribilmente gentile con qualche persona. Subito dopo mi viene fatto di pensare che sia gentile solo quando conviene anche a lui, ma vengo smentita dallo scoprire che non si fa quasi pagare dalla povera gente per i suoi incantesimi. Insomma, non lo so, Vostra Maestà. Howl è un vero pasticcio!"

Ammetto di avere un debole per Patrick Wolf, perciò mi piace praticamente tutto quello che fa, ma devo dire che questa è una delle sue canzoni migliori in assoluto.

Every year in my town we have a town fair with street markets, merry-go-rounds, trade exhibitions, food and sweets stalls, concerts.

It's a tradition I really like and I always attend it with my family and friends.. you can stay out all day and night, walking, eating, talking and laughing in the streets. The feeling is wonderful! :)

This year these were my purchases:

Ogni anno nella mia città c'è la fiera cittadina con mercatini, giostre, esposizioni commerciali, bancarelle colme di cibo e dolciumi, concerti.

E' una tradizione che mi piace moltissimo e partecipo sempre con i miei familiari e amici.. si può stare fuori giorno e notte e camminare, parlare, mangiare e ridere per strada. L'atmosfera è meravigliosa! :)

Non solo sono una lettrice compulsiva, sono anche una compratrice compulsiva di libri. Se passo davanti una libreria/negozio di libri usati DEVO entrarci. E se ci entro DEVO uscirne con almeno un libro.
Tra i miei amici circolano diversi aneddoti divertenti in proposito.. il più famoso risale a quando frequentavo l'Università a Ferrara: ogni volta che andavo a fare la spesa tornavo a casa con un sacchetto di libri perchè davanti al supermercato c'era la Feltrinelli e le mie coinquiline la trovavano una cosa esilarante.. !

wedding hairstyle

I'm thinking about my hairstyle for my cousin's wedding (1st October).
She'll get married at 2.30 pm and there will be a party all day and night long.. so I need a hairstyle that will last for a very long time (and with my hair it will be very difficult).

Plus I'd like to look fabulous (of course), so it has to add volume to my fine, straight hair.

I think I'll go for some kind of curly, messy, loose bun (and part the hair on the side).

Alla fine ho passato l'intera estate a lavorare e studiare.. grandioso, eh? Sto ancora aspettando di fare un esame (che ansia!) prima di poter finalmente andare un po' al mare. Oltretutto si tratta di uno di quegli esami che ti fanno mettere in discussione il tuo percorso di studi e l'intero sistema universitario (per la serie "ma chi me l'ha fatto fare?").

My job is not as easy as you can think. Most of the turists are rude and anxious but I always try to be polite and patient. Many of them don't even say "goodmorning" or "hello" and I'd like to reply "hey, I'm a human being, not a robot, why don't you just say hello?".

But sometimes I meet some really nice people. Today some people from Denmark came close to me and said "we have been looking at you for a while and we just want to say that you are very good at doing your job.. and your italian is very good as well!".

This sentence simply made my day.

Il mio lavoro non è facile come si può pensare. La maggior parte dei turisti è scortese e impaziente ma cerco sempre di essere gentile e fingo di non notare la loro maleducazione. Molti non hanno nemmeno la compiacenza di salutare quando mi interpellano e io vorrei tanto rispondere "hey, sono un essere umano, non un robot, perchè non mi degni nemmeno di un ciao?".

Ma qualche volta incontro delle persone veramente gentili e simpatiche. Oggi alcune persone dalla Danimarca si sono avvicinate e mi hanno detto "è un po' che ti osserviamo e volevamo solo dirti che sei veramente brava a fare il tuo lavoro.. e poi parli benissimo italiano!".

Questa frase ha improvvisamente dato un senso ad una giornata (fino ad allora) veramente pesante.

I've just ended my first week at work and I'm exhausted!

I'm working at the Venice Biennale and I stay under the sun all day dealing with the visitors.

I'm completely sunburnt even if I used a sun cream..

Fortunately my workmate is really nice and we soon became friends. He's trying to teach me how to be a proper Venetian, which involves, among other things, learning the reef knot and how to boat (it's not that easy, really..).

Today, after work, we went to a little island of Venice for a walk and a drink. It's a lovely place, with wild rabbits and goats..

Lavoro alla Biennale di Venezia e passo la giornata sotto il sole ad occuparmi dei visitatori.

Sono completamente ustionata anche se ho messo la protezione solare..

Per fortuna il mio collega è simpatico e siamo subito diventati amici. Sta cercando di fare di me una vera veneziana, il che implica, tra le altre cose, imparare a fare il nodo piano e a portare la barca (non è affatto semplice, ve lo assicuro..).

Finito di lavorare oggi siamo andati su una piccola isola di Venezia a fare una passeggiata e bere l'aperitivo. E' un posto veramente bellissimo, con capre e conigli selvatici..

Three days ago my cousin and I found a she-cat in my granparents' garden. She was scared to death and really sweet. We took her to the vet as she moved with difficulty and had probably been run over by a car.

Even if she was lively and walked with a limp short distances, we were worried because she didn't want to eat anything..

We immediately started looking for her family (she didn't look like an alley cat) through facebook and in the neighbourhood and yesterday we found them thanks to a report!

They had been looking for her for 4 days before we called and were very happy to find her again, weeping tears of joy and relief.

Tre giorni fa mia cugina ed io abbiamo trovato una gatta nel giardino dei miei nonni. Era spaventatissima ma anche molto dolce e buona. L'abbiamo portata dal veterinario perchè si muoveva con difficoltà e probabilmente era stata investita da un'auto.

Anche se sembrava piuttosto vispa e riusciva a camminare zoppicando per brevi distanze, eravamo molto preoccupate perchè si rifiutava di mangiare..

Abbiamo subito iniziato a cercare la sua famiglia (non sembrava una gatta randagia) attraverso facebook e nel vicinato e ieri, grazie ad una segnalazione, l'abbiamo trovata!

Anche loro la stavano cercando da ben 4 giorni e sono stati veramente felici di averla ritrovata, piangendo per la gioia e il sollievo.

[eng] All the creams/lotions I like have some things in common: they are all light and easy to absorb, they have a good smell and leave my skin moisturized and soft (of course!). Especially in summer, when due to the heat I can't stand oily moisturizers as in winter.

[ita] Tutte le creme/lozioni che mi piacciono hanno alcune cose in comune: hanno tutte una consistenza leggera e facile da assorbire, un buon odore e lasciano la mia pelle idratata e morbida (of course!). [eng] My favourite hand cream from Crabtree & Evelyn: Citron, Honey and Coriander. It has a lovely lemony scent with a spicy hint.

[eng] I bought this last time I went to London. It's the "famous" Steam Cream, a multipurpose cream with natural ingredients and essential oils.

Each tin is decorated with different patterns and images.. really nice :)

a baby bird found in my garden

Yesterday I found this baby bird in my garden, probably fallen from its nest. It had a bad eye infection and was almost blind (my cats were already sniffing it out while its mom was trying very bravely to keep them away).

I called the LIPU (the Italian association which strives to protect birds and which is a BirdLife International Partner) and asked them what to do and don't.

I put it in a shoebox with holes to let it breath easily and I fed it with some diluted baby food (as suggested by the person I talked with on the phone). Finally I put the box in a quiet room to let it rest.

This morning the baby bird was pretty fine (except for the eyes), very lively and it loudly asked for food. A volunteer has already taken it to cure it properly. Mission accomplished :)

Ieri ho trovato un uccellino nel mio giardino, probabilmente caduto dal nido e con una brutta infezione agli occhi, tanto che era quasi completamente cieco (i miei gatti già stavano iniziando a fiutarlo mentre la sua mamma cercava molto coraggiosamente di tenerli alla larga).

Ho chiamato la LIPU e chiesto loro cosa dovessi fare e non fare.

L'ho messo in una scatola da scarpe con dei fori per l'aria e l'ho nutrito con dell'omogenizzato per bambini diluito con acqua (come mi era stato suggerito). Infine ho messo la scatola in una stanza tranquilla per lasciarlo riposare.

Questa mattina il piccolo si era ripreso (anche se gli occhietti erano ancora messi male), era bello vispo e a gran voce chiedeva da mangiare. Un volontario è già passato a prenderlo per fornirgli le cure adeguate. Missione compiuta :)

Today I prepared an apple strudel for my brother and my little cousin (I cheated a bit as I used an already rolled-out pastry).

I made it very simple, using just chopped apples and cinnamon powder (no raisin, no pine nut, no sugar, ..). Let's say it is a lighter and quicker version of the classic strudel (it takes about 30 minutes).

Delicious!

Oggi ho preparato uno strudel di mele per mio fratello e il mio cuginetto (ho un po' imbrogliato perchè ho usato della pasta già pronta).

L'ho fatto molto semplice, usando solo mele a pezzetti e cannella in polvere per il ripieno (niente uvetta, nè pinoli, nè zucchero, ..). Diciamo che è una versione più leggera e veloce del classico strudel (in mezz'ora è pronto).

I'm crazy about The Sims. Really.

I started playing with the first version (which was very simple compared to the actual one) and as soon as the second one was released I immediately got my hands on it.

Unfortunately I can't use it anymore as it was made just for Pcs and not for Macs. I know that right now there's the 3rd version (and I know that this is available also for Mac), but I promised myself not to buy it, otherwise I wouldn't graduate anymore (believe me, that game is really like a drug)!

However I've heard some rumors about a new realease of The Sims4 possibly already next year (which would be quite unfair for those who bought The Sims3).

Am I the only one here with an insane obsession for The Sims? :)

Vado pazza per The Sims. Davvero.

Ho iniziato a giocare con la prima versione (che era piuttosto semplice se paragonata a quella attuale) e non appena è uscita la seconda ho fatto in modo di metterci le zampette sopra.

Sfortunatamente non posso più usarla perchè non è compatibile con il Mac. So che è uscita anche la terza versione (che invece è Mac-compatibile), ma mi sono ripromessa di non prenderla, altrimenti finisce che non mi laureo più (credetemi, quel gioco è una vera e propria droga)!

Comunque ho sentito dei rumors a proposito del rilascio di The Sims4 forse già dal prossimo anno (anche se così presto non sarebbe tanto giusto nei confronti di chi ha acquistato The Sims3).

Sono l'unica con una malsana ossessione per The Sims? :)

My mum bought me this bag for my birthday.. isn't it beautiful? I really like it as it's very practical and not too smart, so I can wear it everyday.

As a woman I like every kind of bag (big, small, elegant, casual, ..), of course, but usually I wear big ones as I always carry lots of things with me: my wallet, keys, mobile and diary, lip balms and lipsticks, always a book, my camera, a bottle of water, a little notebook, my ipod, tissues, hand cream, folding bags, sunglasses and so on..

What's your favourite bag? Do you prefer big bags or small ones?

Mia mamma mi ha regalato questa borsa per il mio compleanno.. non è bellissima? Mi piace un sacco perchè la trovo pratica e non troppo elegante, così posso metterla tutti i giorni.

In quanto donna, ovviamente mi piacciono borse di tutti i tipi (grandi, piccole, eleganti, casual, ..), ma di solito prediligo usare quelle grandi dato che mi porto dietro sempre un sacco di roba: portafoglio, chiavi, cellulare, agenda, diversi burrocacao e rossetti, sempre un libro, la mia macchina fotografica, una bottiglietta d'acqua, un taccuino, il mio ipod, fazzolettini, crema per le mani, borsette pieghevoli (per fare la spesa), occhiali da sole e così via..

I'm going to spend the afternoon reading some interior design magazines in the sun (it's so hot here that it seems summer already!). I really like these kind of magazines and when I find something interesting (a piece of forniture, an idea for extra-storage spaces, a nice combination of colors,.. ) I put it in my personal notebook which contains all the ideas for my future home. It's full of photos and articles, diferent colors and styles. It's my private place for dreaming :)

Ho intenzione di passare il pomeriggio a leggere alcune riviste di arredamento godendomi questo sole (fa così caldo che sembra già estate!). Adoro questo genere di riviste e quando trovo qualcosa di interessante (un particolare mobile, un'idea per ricavare spazio extra, un gradevole accostamento di colori,.. ) lo metto nel mio quaderno personale che contiene tutte le idee per la mia futura casa. E' pieno di foto e articoli, colori e stili diversi. E' il mio spazio privato per sognare :)

I've just watched this amazing film and I liked it so much that I want also to read the book it was took from ("Never let me go" by Kazuo Ishiguro, the same author of "The remains of the day").

The story: in a dystopian world Tommy, Kathy and Ruth are special children. They were clonated to become donors and they attend Hailsham, an isolated school in the english countryside, with other children like them.

As they grow up they fell in love (in a love triangle), they move from Hailsham to "The Cottages" (another step in the cycle of the donors) and they end up going separate ways. They'll get together many years later, facing old jealousies and unexpressed feelings while their destiny is getting closer and closer.

It's a sad story, but a good one if you know what I mean. It's a story that makes you think, not just a tear-jerker.

I'm looking forward to reading the book.

Ho appena visto questo bellissimo film e mi è piaciuto talmente tanto che voglio leggere anche il libro da cui è tratto ("Non lasciarmi" di Kazuo Ishiguro, lo stesso autore di "Quel che resta del giorno").

La storia: in un mondo distopico Tommy, Kathy e Ruth sono dei bambini speciali. Sono infatti stati clonati per diventare donatori e frequentano Hailsham, una scuola isolata nella campagna inglese, insieme ad altri bambini come loro.

Crescendo si innamorano (creando un triangolo), si trasferiscono da Hailsham ai "Cottages" (un altro passo nel ciclo di vita dei donatori) e finiscono per separarsi prendendo strade diverse. Si riuniranno diversi anni dopo, affrontando vecchie gelosie e sentimenti inespressi mentre il loro destino si avvicina inesorabile.

E' una storia triste, ma una di quelle belle, non so se mi spiego. Una storia che ti fa pensare e non solo piangere fiumi di lacrime.

Non vedo l'ora di leggere il libro.

I finally booked the flight to London.. I'm going there at the end of march/beginning of april, just in time to celebrate my birthday with my londoner friends and, of course, to do a lot of shopping (it's my birthday after all!).

I already got a list of things I'd like to buy once I'll be there, among others:

- straberry and kiwi tea. It's delicious and I couldn't manage to find it in Italy.

- "Black Books" complete series.

- old charms from Portobello's stalls.

- books and magazines.

- a job.. XD

Finalmente ho prenotato il volo per Londra.. Vado alla fine di marzo/inizio aprile, giusto in tempo per festeggiare il mio compleanno con gli amici londinesi e, ovviamente, per fare un sacco di shopping (è pur sempre il mio compleanno!).

Ho già stilato una lista di cose che vorrei prendere una volta lì, tra cui:

- thè alla fragola e kiwi. E' delizioso e non sono riuscita a trovarlo in Italia.

- la serie completa di "Black Books".

- vecchi ciondoli alle bancarrelle di Portobello.

- libri e riviste.

One of us graduated last week and she is about to go to New York for a few months, so we decided to spend the weekend all together to say goodbye..

It was a lovely weekend, with laughs and memories (plus a hugh amount of good food, of course).

Ho passato il fine settimana tra Ferrara e dintorni con le mie ex-coinquiline e i nostri amici.. viviamo tutti in diverse parti d'Italia e non riusciamo a vederci spesso (non spesso come vorremmo).

Una di noi si è laureata la settimana scorsa e sta per partire per New York dove starà qualche mese, così abbiamo deciso di riunirci per salutarla..

Sono stata invitata ad assistere alla sfilata A/I 2011/2012 di Elena Mirò che si terrà mercoledì. Sfortunatamente non potrò andare a Milano a causa di impegni precedenti, ma sicuramente vedrò lo show online.. infatti per l'occasione sarà attivo un collegamento web e tutti potranno assistere alla sfilata cliccando qui mercoledì 23 alle 10.00.

Yesterday I went to some wedding shops with my cousin M. and my aunt.

M. is looking for her bridal dress but unfortunately she hasn't tried any on.

It was my first time in a wedding shop.. I saw some awesome dresses and some really ugly ones..

M. sta cercando il suo vestito da sposa ma sfortunatamente non ne ha provato nessuno.

E' stata la mia prima volta in un negozio di vestiti da sposa.. ne ho visti alcuni di bellissimi e altri di veramente orribili..

Do you remember I told you I start going running in the evening? Well, I pulled a muscle (between the leg and the groin) and it's really annoying. Not bad, uh? I'm so clumsy!

My gym trainer suggested my to return to nordic walking (better also for my knees) and I think I'll follow his suggestion.

Ricordate che ho detto che avevo iniziato a correre la sera? Bene, mi sono stirata un muscolo (tra la gamba e l'inguine) e non lo consiglio a nessuno. Non male eh? Sono proprio impedita!

Il mio istruttore della palestra mi ha suggerito di tornare al nordic walking (che è meglio anche per le mie ginocchia) e credo proprio che seguirò il suo consiglio.

As you can see from the photographs Mosè is recovering very well after the operation :)

Yesterday, when we took him back home after the surgery he was suffering from hallucinations and was very scared.. Fortunately after a few hours the effect of the anaesthesia disappeared and he started to feel better. He drank some water and took few tottering steps.

He sleeps peacefully during the night and today he's lively as usual.

Come potete vedere dalle foto Mosè si sta riprendendo molto bene :)

Ieri, quando lo abbiamo portato a casa dopo l'operazione aveva le allucinazioni ed era molto spaventato.. Per fortuna dopo alcune ore l'effetto dell'anestesia è finito ed ha iniziato a stare meglio. Ha bevuto e mosso qualche passo barcollante.

Ha dormito tranquillo tutta notte e oggi è tornato vivace come al solito.

Tomorrow Mosè is going to the vet to be neutered. It's a simple operation that they do hundred times in a week, but thinking of my little rascal all alone on the operating table really frightened me.. :(

Domani è il grande giorno: Mosè andrà dal veterinario per essere sterilizzato. E' un'operazione semplice che fanno centinaia di volte alla settimana, ma pensare il mio piccolo teppistello tutto solo sul tavolo operatorio mi spaventa.. :(

A few weeks ago I won a giveaway by "La mia casa nel vento" and finally today (Poste Italiane, the italian mailing service is such a terrible one) my candle arrived!

This candle is very particular as it's (hand) made of mango butter and coconut oil, so, once melt, I can also use it as a massage oil. As you can see the packaging is really nice as well and the candle smells lovely!

Qualche settimana fa ho vinto il giveaway di "La mia casa nel vento" e finalmente oggi (sappiamo tutti che Poste Italiane offre un pessimo servizio) la mia candela è arrivata!

Questa candela è veramente particolare perchè è fatta (a mano) con burro di mango e olio di cocco e così, una volta sciolta, posso usarla anche come olio da massaggio. Come potete vedere anche la confezione è graziosissima e la candela ha un profumo delizioso!

Both my cats like to sleep under the bedspread when it's cold or when Maggie is scared (Mosè hardly gets scared, he's too reckless and curious).
