What can I say about last night? 
A great concert, Mr. Wolf is a really talented artist and an easygoing and friendly person.
You already know how much I like his music, so you can easily imagine my joy and excitement being there.. of course Mr. Brown was excited too, as you can see from the picture.  :-)

Pulcinella / Il Mandarino Meraviglioso

Giornata super-intensa ieri! 

Sveglia alle 6.30 per andare a Venezia, finito il turno in museo sono corsa di nuovo al treno e, arrivata a casa, in 20 minuti mi sono docciata e sistemata. Mi sono precipitata a prendere l'autobus e finalmente ho potuto tirare un po' il fiato.

Sono tornata a casa all'una di notte stanca morta, ma ne è valsa la pena.

Ho visto i balletti Pulcinella e Il Mandarino Meraviglioso su musiche di Stravinskij e Béla Bartòk al Teatro Filarmonico di Verona. 

Protagonisti Giuseppe Picone (straordinario il suo Pulcinella, un'intrerpretazione perfettamente riuscita) e Jason Reilly (un Mandarino appassionato e dalle linee pulite). Notevoli anche Amaya Ugarteche, Antonio Russo, Yunieska Legrà Sànchez, Nicolò Noto, Alessia Gelmetti e il resto del corpo di ballo dell'Arena di Verona.

Le coreografie e i costumi erano veramente suggestivi, in particolare quelli del Mandarino Meraviglioso, giocati sui toni del grigio, nero e rosso con qualche tocco dorato.

Back from Milano

[eng] I've just come back from Milano, where I've made some research for my thesis (and shopping with Silvia). 

[ita] Sono da poco tornata da Milano, dove ho passato alcuni giorni a fare ricerche per la mia tesi (e shopping con Silvia).

[eng] While i was visiting the Monumentale I got burnt even if it wasn't sunny :(

[ita] Mentre stavo visitando il Monumentale mi sono bruciata le spalle anche se non c'era molto sole :(

 [eng] We had a lot of sushi for dinner (with Silvia's boyfriend).

[ita] Abbiamo mangiato un sacco di sushi per cena (con il ragazzo di Silvia).

[eng] On saturday we went to Parco Sempione with Mr. Brown to relax under the trees..

[ita] Sabato siamo andate al Parco Sempione con Mr. Brown per rilassarci sotto gli alberi..

[eng] Look at this hailstorm (I was on the tram fortunately!): it lasted about 10 minutes and the hailstone were huge!

[ita] Guardate questa grandinata (per fortuna io ero sul tram!): è durata circa 10 minuti e i chicchi erano enormi!

I spent a lovely time in London at Polly's.. we went shopping with our friend Silvia, had lots of dumplings (really, I mean A LOT.. it was "lazy sumdays-all you can eat" at Ping Pong restaurant) and visited Highgate Cemetery.

Mr. Brown was with me, of course :)

Il weekend a Londra dalla Polly è stato bellissimo.. lei, Silvia ed io abbiamo fatto shopping, mangiato un sacco di ravioli al vapore (e intendo veramente UN SACCO, c'era il "lazy sumdays" da Ping Pong, una specie di "tutto quello che puoi mangiare") e visitato il Cimitero di Highgate.

Ovviamente Mr. Brown era con me :)

1st day at the library

Today was my first day of studying at the public library.. I'm preparing the international and european law for cultural properties exam and I prefer not to study alone at home (otherwise I wouldn't do much).

Oggi è stato il mio primo giorno di studio in biblioteca.. sto preparando l'esame di diritto europeo ed internazionale per i beni culturali e preferisco non studiare per conto mio a casa (altrimenti non combino molto).
