I'm crazy about The Sims. Really.
I started playing with the first version (which was very simple compared to the actual one) and as soon as the second one was released I immediately got my hands on it.
Unfortunately I can't use it anymore as it was made just for Pcs and not for Macs. I know that right now there's the 3rd version (and I know that this is available also for Mac), but I promised myself not to buy it, otherwise I wouldn't graduate anymore (believe me, that game is really like a drug)!
However I've heard some rumors about a new realease of The Sims4 possibly already next year (which would be quite unfair for those who bought The Sims3).
Am I the only one here with an insane obsession for The Sims? :)

Vado pazza per The Sims. Davvero.
Ho iniziato a giocare con la prima versione (che era piuttosto semplice se paragonata a quella attuale) e non appena è uscita la seconda ho fatto in modo di metterci le zampette sopra.
Sfortunatamente non posso più usarla perchè non è compatibile con il Mac. So che è uscita anche la terza versione (che invece è Mac-compatibile), ma mi sono ripromessa di non prenderla, altrimenti finisce che non mi laureo più (credetemi, quel gioco è una vera e propria droga)!
Comunque ho sentito dei rumors a proposito del rilascio di The Sims4 forse già dal prossimo anno (anche se così presto non sarebbe tanto giusto nei confronti di chi ha acquistato The Sims3).

I am going to miss it too as I am thinking of changing to a Mac... but for now, I am still on the PC.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE the sims, and i agree that it would be almost impossible to graduate and have the sims games too!
Io ai Sims ci ho giocato poco, e solo con la prima versione. All'inizio mi piaceva, e mi ero anche sbattuta a fargli la casetta, arredarla, inventare la vita della poveretta che avevo inventato.
Poi diventata un lavoro però: dalle da mangiare, mandala in bagno, falla lavorare, falle fare amicizia, falla parlare ... che fatica!

@katiu: in effetti a volte è un po' faticoso, ma si possono usare anche dei trucchi per facilitare le cose ;)

purtroppo non sei l'unica...ricordo i miei malsani pomeriggi passati sul computer anzichè studiare per il diploma! ora purtroppo sono passata a cityville, sono delle droghe :P
