Mosè the destroyer

 [On sunday I bought this Ikea soft toy for Mosè. It lasted about 10 hours before he turned it into this thing. I wish I had bought more of them.]

Mosè has the bad habit to bite and chew everything he can get his paws on. And, just in case you forgot it, Mosè's a cat. 

This become a serious problem when he ruins scarves, pillows and blankets (do you remember mine?), so I use to buy him toys he can chew and destroy.

Mosè ha la pessima abitudine di mordere e rosicchiare qualsiasi cosa su cui riesca a mettere le sue zampette pelose. E, nel caso lo abbiate dimenticato, Mosè è un gatto.

Questo suo comportamento risulta un problema piuttosto fastidioso quando attacca sciarpe, cuscini e coperte (ricordate come ha ridotto la mia?), così di solito gli compro dei giochini che può masticare e distruggere tranquillamente.

I'm so sorry for my lack of posts lately, but I really had no time at all for blogging..
Do you like my new daily planner? I really like Hugo Pratt's "Corto Maltese" and when I saw this little planner I immediately fell in love with it.  :-)
It's very simple and it has some (gorgeous) illustrations here and there.

In 2011 I felt like I was "postponing" living my life, if you get what I mean..

I hope this could change in 2012.

And as I NEVER respect New Year's resolutions, I've decided not to make any, just some kind of guidelines: so I wish to be able to grow and to leave the dead wood behind me.

Nel 2011 mi è sembrato di "posticipare" la mia vita, se capite cosa intendo.. 

Spero che questo possa cambiare nel 2012.

E dato che non rispetto MAI i propositi per il nuovo anno, ho deciso di non farne, ma di concedermi solo alcune linee guida: perciò spero di essere capace di crescere e di lasciarmi alle spalle i rami secchi.

Yesterday evening, after working until 8pm, I joined my family and relatives for the Christmas Eve dinner and today we had lunch all together. 

And as every year, I prepared my Christmas coockies for friends and colleagues. 

I love Christmas.

Ieri sera, dopo aver lavorato fino alle 20.00, ho raggiunto famiglia e parenti per la tradizionale cena della Vigilia e oggi abbiamo pranzato tutti insieme.

E come ogni anno, in questi giorni ho preparato i miei biscotti natalizi per amici e colleghi. Adoro il Natale.

9 days to Christmas.

I'm working extra hours at the bookshop (it's crazy there during Christmas.. people come in waves) and I spend the rest of the time giving private lessons and helping my mum to get things ready for Christmas (buying and wrapping presents, cooking, decorating the house,..). 

I love Christmas <3.

Mancano 9 giorni a Natale.

Sto facendo anche qualche straordinario in libreria (è da pazzi là dentro in questo periodo.. le persone arrivano a ondate) e il resto del tempo lo passo dando ripetizioni e aiutando mia mamma con i preparativi per Natale (comprare e incartare i regali, cucinare, addobbare la casa,..).

Io amo il Natale <3.
